TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the here bonus terms, is here at Trade The Day.
